It is a form of performance that transcends the boundaries between genres, based more on the future of storytelling than the traditions of radio theatre established during the early 20th century.This is the first release in a series of episodes that will include comedy and satirical skits with spurious sponsors and occasional heart-tugging fictional stories and poems that come to life right before your eyes. Each episode stands on its own like a collection of short stories, but almost all the episodes feature the same memorable characters.Some segments work best with script in hand, while other segments are best presented off-book. You choose the tunes that you think best support the segments of the show: reggae, punk, big band, country, polka or create original music throughout. With a flexible, mixed-gender cast of 3 to 27, most of the roles could be played by two versatile actors and were actually first presented with the same two actors.21CRT creatively blends the excitement of old-time radio with present-day ideas, humor and entertainment as diverse as its live audience.
