| |  Brian Carroll Billings is an English professor who currently teaches composition, creative writing, and literature courses at Texas A&M University-Texarkana. His experience includes work as a composer, a librettist, a lyricist, a storyteller, and a transcriber. He has worked closely with the Sheldon Vexler Children's Theatre (San Antonio, Texas) and Second Youth Children's Theatre (Austin, Texas).
