Christopher Burruto
Author Chris Burruto was born in Rochester, NY, and except for a brief stint in Southern California, has made Rochester home for his entire life. He has been a middle school English teacher for over 35 years in the same school he attended as a middle school student. Chris has written and directed over 30 plays exclusively targeted for the middle school audience. Some events in the play Much Ado About Middle School really happened, and the main characters of Jason and Reilly are an amalgam of the author and his middle school friends, who remain, even after all these years, among his closest friends.
