|Christy Fredrickson never dreamed she would become a playwright when she volunteered to help with her daughter's high school play. She was put to work immediately on set design, and later served as assistant director. One year the directors were having an especially hard time finding a script to fit their cast. A published columnist, Christy decided to give it a try. The result was Pistols and Posies, which was produced to rave reviews and followed later by Chaos in Camelot!, Blackboot's Lost Loot, Two Fronts, and Unsound Effects. This busy mom and grandma, in addition to being a writer and farmer, was also now a published playwright. Christy lives on a farm in Nebraska with her husband and still writes all kinds of things. She especially welcomes input and questions about her plays.
