| | | David Lassig was born and raised in North Dakota and currently resides in West Fargo. His first play, Who Maid Who?, is published by Playscripts, Inc. Who Maid Who? was the winner of the 2009 Mountain Playhouse International Playwriting Contest. His second script, Barely Heirs, received its World Premiere at the Harwood Prairie Playhouse in March of 2010. Mr. Lassig is currently working on a world premiere production for his latest farce.Mr. Lassig has written 14 comedies, 3 children's plays, 1 drama, and most recently a ten-play. His shows have been produced all over the United States, Canada, and the UK. been in many plays over the years ranging from musicals to farces to melodramas. Daviid and his wife Shanara, have also written a comedy series of plays entitled Fargo Talk Radio, which is takes place in a radio station and features funny stories from North Dakota.His dramatic script, United: The Heroes of Flight 93, premiered at The Bare Stage as a staged reading in September of 2010. This play is based on the passengers of Flight 93 on September 11th and has been produced numerous times in the Fargo area. | |
