| | Erica Jo Hoye graduated from Viterbo University in December of 2006 with degrees in Theatre Directing and Arts Administration. She is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. While at Viterbo, she directed, stage managed, designed sound, and worked on crews for many different shows, among them, Proof The Baltimore Waltz The Good Person Of Setzuan No, No, Nanette Old Times and Oh! What A Lovely War. Immediately after graduating, she worked at Living History Farms in Des Moines as an historical interpreter before moving back to Cedar Rapids, where she lives with her husband (Ryan) and two cats (Sophie and Oliver Cromwell). Currently she is working at Theatre Cedar Rapids, as Assistant to the Artistic Director, which includes coordinating education programs, teaching youth and adult classes, and assisting with the artistic elements of productions. She spends most of her limited free time continuing to write. | |
