| | Frank Izzo was born in New Haven, CT. His introduction to drama was in 8th grade, when he appeared in a major role in a production at Albertus Magnus College. He has been a lifelong subscriber to the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven. Frank's first publication was a short story Tank which appeared in Isaac Asimov's Science fiction magazine, and several international science fiction anthologies. He also appeared on PBS TV to discuss the story. In addition, Frank has published poetry in the online magazine Wild Violet. He has written two screenplays which have not been produced. His collection of short stories about growing up in New Haven in the 1960's, Transubstantiation, is available at Amazon.com. He returned to the world of the stage, when his 10 minute play was performed by Playmakers in Hamden, CT, at the Thorton Wilder auditorium. Frank lives in the seaside village of Rowayton, Ct., with his wife Cheryl. | |
