| | Larry has been a professional songwriter since 1962. Affiliations include the Dells, the Buckinghams, Otis Clay, Jackie Wilson and Bobby Goldsboro. He has written for musical theatre since 1980 and has collaborated with many talented writers, including Tim Kelly, Gary Peterson, Hal Kessler, Miriam Schuman, Alex Karanikus, Randy Miller and Neal Grofman.Larry is a versatile songwriter, but especially enjoys children's theatre and addressing social awareness issues. Children Theatre credits include "Foursome the Spider", "Whiz Me a Frisbee!", "We Play Baseball!" and "Santa Doesn't Smoke Here Anymore", which have been featured on CBS, Weekend Today and Nickelodeon. Social Awareness themes include "The Kettle" for The Salvation Army, "Ribbon of Red" for AIDS groups and "The Insect and the Ash Tree" for the U. S. Forest Department.Larry resides in the Chicago area with his two children and enjoys a fiery round of golf, when weather permits. | |
