| Marcus Ridner |
| | Marcus Ridner was born in Kentucky and later lived in Knoxville, Tennessee until the age of 18. He began entertaining at age 11, singing, doing impressions, performing improv and comedy for private parties and corporate functions.
Marcus took acting classes in high school and performed in college. He created a superhero with the entire costume for a healthcare company to entertain, motivate and train. Marcus acted in 12 stage plays in 16 months at one point in his career. He is writing other comedy plays and working on short film projects.
Marcus was a business coach for several years, a corporate trainer/entertainer, mediator/negotiator, a politician, an energy broker, vice president of marketing/branding for two companies, and an intellectual property consultant to assist others to bring their ideas to market. He loves bluegrass, the blues, rock and roll, technology, aviation and social media.
One night Marcus went out and had a beer with Rusty Harding and told him the hillbilly stories he’s been telling for over 25 years at parties. He had Rusty laughing till he was crying, and sometime later they wrote There’s No Place Like Homer together.
Marcus has recently finished acting in two short films that will be submitted to the Sundance Film Festival. He is involved in film, TV, commercials and most definitely comedy. | |
