| | Michael Callahan is a writer, actor, and director who lives in Lompoc, California. His plays have been performed in a variety of milieus from New York to Sydney, Australia. His play, A Short History of Woodstock Christ Lutheran Church (1806-2006), was produced in Woodstock, NY and celebrated the church's 200th anniversary. The Town Meeting was selected by the Arvada Center for the Performing Arts for the Playwright's Showcase in Colorado. Several plays have been produced across the country including Escape, which was selected by the Lakeshore Players in Minnesota and the Actor's Theater in Santa Cruz, California. The Gay Hangman was produced by the Short Sweet Festival in Sydney, Australia. He has written and directed several plays dealing with the history of Lompoc for the Lompoc Museum and other civic organizations. | |
