| | Playwright Michael F. Bruck has had several plays produced Off Broadway over the years including “Encounters in Passaic,” “The Chill on Lake St. Clair,” and “Fancy”. His one act drama “Lottie and Leo” appeared in the Midtown International Theater Festival in 2014 at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre and garnered Bruck four MITF Award nominations. In February 2016, Bruck’s short play “Tea for Two and Tony Too” played in Napa, California at the Lucky Penny Theatre and won the “Audience Favorite Award”. In October 2016, his mini-comedy “Ava Turns 50” won best short play award at the Northville Park Theatre in San Diego. In July of 2016 he returned to the Midtown International Theater Festival with his plays “Once Upon a Ferry” and “The Secret”. In April of 2017, Spotlight on Festivals presented his one act plays “Manhattan Medium” and “The Scarab Club” at the Wild Project in NYC’s East Village. His musical “Madison Square Park” co-written with composer Michael DeMaio was showcased at the Medicine Show Theatre in NYC in summer of 2018. Bruck and DeMaio are currently working on their second musical project “Full Circle” which will debut in summer of 2020. Bruck is a member of the Dramatist Guild. | |
