| | Richard Fulco's plays have been either presented or developed at The New York International Fringe Festival, The Playwrights Center, The Flea, Here Arts Center, Great Plains Theatre Conference, Little Theatre at Tonic, Last Frontier, 78th Street Theatre Lab, BRIC Studio, Turnip Theatre, and Chicago Dramatists. He received his MFA and was the recipient of a MacArthur Scholarship in playwriting from Brooklyn College, where he studied with Mac Wellman. Richard has written theater reviews for The Brooklyn Rail and Propaganda. In summer 2008, he received a scholarship at the Cullman Centers Summer Seminar for Scholars. He curated the Monday Night Playwrights Reading Series at Biscuit. He is a member of the PEN American Center (where he is a mentor in the Prison Writing Mentorship Program), The Playwrights Center in Minneapolis, Chicago Dramatists and the Dramatists Guild of America.
