Robert Wing

Until the age of sisteen, Army brat Robert Wing Jr. traveled from country to country, state to state. Upon his father's retirement from the military, Robert and his family moved to Island Pond, Vermont, where he lives to this day, family and friends - and dogs - always nearby. Robert teaches English at North Country Union High School in Newport, Vermont, the same high school he attended his sophomore, junior and senior years, an experience at first disconcerting but now, after twelve years of teaching, he wouldn't have had it any other way. Robert loves the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and the rough-and-tumble country kids he teaches, many of whom have inspired the colorful characters in his plays.
