| | Born in Toronto, Ontario, Robert F. Ciccotelli graduated with honours in Theatre and English from York University and the University of Toronto. Working as a secondary school Dramatic Arts teacher for the last 22 years has given Ciccotelli the extraordinary opportunity to experiment with and explore numerous different theatrical styles, genres and content. Over the years, Ciccotelli's productions have garnered numerous awards and accolades in provincial and international secondary school drama festivals. Ciccotelli's contemporary adaptation of MACBETH, for instance, recently played to sold out audiences at the 1000 seat Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto and played the main stage of the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska. In this time Ciccotelli has also been a professional playwright and screenwriter, theatre and film director, photographer and audio engineer. He is a member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada. He is also the Artistic Director of Theatre Anon Productions, which produces original theatre, film and music. | |
