Sean Abley
 
Sean Abley co-founded the Factory Theater in Chicago in 1992. While there he wrote the plays Corpse Grinders, Attack of the Killer B's, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians - The Musical and Nuclear Family. He contributed to the ensemble created works Hooray! and Second City Didn't Want Us. Other produced work includes Camp Killspree, The Rise of the House of Usher, Dracula's Daughters: A Family Comedy, Reefer Madness and Dr. Frankincense and the Christmas Monster. He has also written extensively for television, including episodes of So Weird (Disney Channel), Sabrina the Animated Series, Digimon and Megababies, as well as the pilot Bench Pressly, starring Bruce Campbell and Tim Curry. His play Popcorn Girl won 2nd place for the National Partners of the American Theatre award, and Absence Makes the Heart was a national finalist for the John Cauble Short Play competition, both as part of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Sean is a member of the Dramatists Guild and the Writers Guild of America.
