Sheri Flannery Verrilli

Sheri Flannery VerrilliWith plays currently published by Brooklyn Publishers LLC, Heuer Publishers LLC, and Pioneer Drama Services, Sheri Flannery Verrilli is a playwright, director, choreographer and performer with over 35 years of experience in the arts and historic arts, including three decades as a member of The Mermaids Tale, a puppetry arts and mask theater troupe. As 1994 founderdirector and playwright-in-residence of Little Lost Arts, an active NJ family theater, Ms. Verrilli is frequently commissioned to produce programs for schools, museums and organizations in the tri-state area, including those supported, andor funded by the Sussex County Arts Heritage Council, Sussex County Board of Education, the NJ Holocaust Commission, Rutgers University Extension, and the NW Jersey Folklife Commission. Annually, she is contracted to choreograph local school productions, and for the past ten years has directed two theater youth camps in Branchville and Sparta, NJ.
 
In NYC, Ms. Verrilli has directed for Pen and Brush, and Tara Circle audiences, performances for PBSs Children's Day at the World Trade Center and Fox TVs Good Day NY!, at living history museums such as Colonial Williamsburg, Historic Waterloo Village, The Museum of Early Trades Crafts, The Historic Wallace House and The Old Dutch Parsonage, and for major retailers such as Macys, Fortunoffs, and Barnes and Noble.
 
Her short play, Vessel of Tears was recently selected by The L.A. Womens Theatre Project (a resident theatre company of the Stella Adler Theatre, L.A.) for inclusion into Women in the Arts, a 3-day festival in November 2010, showcasing the best from women artists in the fields of Theatre, Film, Music, Literature, and Visual Arts. A member of The Dramatists Guild of America, Ms. Verrilli is listed in Whos Who Among Americas Teachers (2003-2005).
