Author's Notes:
This show was performed by Second Youth Family Theatre (Austin, Texas) in 2006 over a two-week span featuring three shows weekly. Alternate voices have been written into the scores should an all-adult or all-child cast be desired. Also, nearly all of the characters could be played by males or females making this show amazingly flexible.

Synopsis
Rediscover Aesop's classic tales with a musical trip to market with Patty where she bumps into some of Aesop's famous animals. While dreaming of what she will buy with her earnings, Patty bumps into the racing tortoise and spills her milk, she bumps into the country mouse and city mouse and spills more milk. Then, she runs into a group of monkeys and spills the last of her milk. She blames the monkeys for her loss, but quickly realizes that the only person truly at fault was herself. The monkeys celebrate her epiphany with a rousing bout of "Monkey Bop" shenanigans. Patty invites them back to her house for a snack and on the way home, they pick up the mice, the tortoise, and other marketplace friends.
