Author's Notes:
In Scrooge's Christmas, a group of actors playing multiple roles, create all the sound effects, on an open stage area. Scenery and props can be added as desired, but with this clever adaptation of Dickens' story, it's not necessary. With only basic costume pieces and simple furniture items, this show is easy and affordable to produce. A proven hit with high schools, colleges, community theatres and churches, the play can be done in a church hall or a school library just as effectively as it can be done on a theatrical stage.

Synopsis
In Ken Jones's adaptation of Charles Dickens's classic tale, A Christmas Carol, a group of actors portray all the characters of this Christmas tradition. The ensemble provides the songs and sounds as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is confronted by the Spirits of Past, Present and Future. This unique telling can play to an audience in an intimate or large setting using nothing but costumes and a few props. This remarkable adaptation is perfect for schools and community theatres, and running at just an hour, it is the perfect version for family audiences.
