This was a great way to showcase lots of different students. Everyone got to be a star for their ten minutes. There was some really funny lines in it also. We enjoyed doing this as something different from what is normally done at our school.

My grade 10 class had a great time producing and presenting the play, Exposed! Eight 10-Minute Scenes About What Really Happened. The flexible casting was ideal for a large class. The 10 minute scene made the rehearsal process easy to manage, and enabled each group to take responsibility for their scene. Most of the roles were reasonably challenging, with a lesser number of roles for weaker students. Overall, this was a teacher and student friendly play to produce. Our audience enjoyed it as well.

Synopsis

Welcome to EXPOSED! the show that reveals the truth behind famous people, characters and stories. Did Rumpelstiltskin really try to steal the princess' baby? Was Mr. Hyde really Miss Hyde? Was Charles Dickens really a frustrated stand-up comic? Was Robin Hood's sister really responsible for all that theft? EXPOSED! examines these stories plus Hansel and Gretel, Peter Pan, Willy Wonka, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Written to be either a full evening's worth of entertainment, or each scene broken out for drama festivals and competitions, EXPOSED! has something for everyone, both on stage and in the audience!
