Customer Comments:
By Corrine Reed - Director - Prairie Heights High School
Great show for competition! The directorial freedom allowed by the author created a great environment for student-staff collaboration. There are so many different ways this show could be produced. The students loved having the freedom to be creative and invested in every aspect of the show.

I, along with the cast and crew of Rachael Cory, would like to thank you for an excellent play. While the actors and actresses bring the script to life on stage, it is the great writing that gave the characters a voice. The play also gave us an opportunity as a cast and school to address issues that are real.

At the Region Competition, we were selected to continue to State (we received the top vote!). Additionally, the five principle female characters all received Outstanding Performance Awards. Thank you again for the script.

Synopsis
Rachael Cory has it all - or so she is told. Beautiful, smart, loving, and responsible, she's everything we want to be, or is she? As Rachael replays the events of her high school graduation party, the audience learns that she has been betrayed by her best friend, dumped by her boyfriend, berated by her sister, used as a marriage counselor by her parents, and hero-worshipped by a young wannabe. Confessions and lamentations and abuse swirl around in her head, hastening her descent into madness - and death.
