Customer Comments:
By Kevin Plooster - Director - Douglas High School
We had a great time with this play, and our audience thoroughly enjoyed the comedy. This is a great play for developing character acting skills and comedic timing. If you want a fun family show, "Chasing Charming" is well worth your time in producing.

By Amy Stead - Director - Eagle Ridge Junior High School
There are a lot of funny twists and turns to [the play], and we really liked the script. There are a lot of funny scenes that people of all ages will enjoy.

By Nick Longworth - Savage Pacer
It's one part fairy-tale, one part tragedy and equal parts fun!

By Mandy Volpenhein - Producer - Gray Middle School
This was a student directed show that was accessible and very popular from actors, to audience. Sweet message, fun twists, and easy to achieve technically, made this play an ideal choice. It was most ambitious for a student to take on, but much was learned regarding auditions, and the gnarly details of production.

By Barbara Zatarain - Director - Wilson Middle School
As a middle school teacher, I always struggle to find material that is appropriate. Chasing Charming was the perfect choice for my 7th grade class to perform. The script was well written and it had lots of characters so everyone in the class was able to participate. I also loved the themes of 'girl power' and working together to accomplish goals.

By Eric Young - Director - Sundling Jr. High School
This is an outstanding play for a school production. The parts are interesting and maintains the interest of both the parents and students.

By Regina Thomas - Director - Wilson Middle School Drama Dept.
Chasing Charming was a pleasure to produce. The staging possibilities are endless and the students had a great time contributing to the production process. Scheduling rehearsals was made easy by the author.

Synopsis
Chaos and comedy ensue when a blundering young narrator discovers that Prince Charming has been kidnapped by the evil witch Hagragard. The narrator struggles to save her family honor while her well-meaning Fairy Godmother mistakenly sends not one, but six fairytale princesses (and Goldilocks) to the rescue. Will a needy dragon, a score of evil minions and big princess personalities keep this unlikely team from becoming heroes? A great comedy the whole family will enjoy.
