| Synopsis |
| Welcome to a land and to a kingdom that existed long, long ago, in a different time and a different age. A time when courageous chivalry and gentlemanly gallantry were very much a way of life. When legends—that would be told over and over again—first began!Such a legend is “Beauty & The Beast,” a story parents told their children, and then, these very same children, when they became parents, told their children. Thus, both the story and the legend were perpetuated down through many, many centuries…and many countries. For indeed, numerous countries from France to China, from England to Italy, all have a story about a beautiful young maiden who finds truth and beauty, even love, within an individual everyone else considers - a BEAST! This variation teaches several important lessons: “Beauty is only skin deep!” -- “Spending time to get to know someone might just yield a treasure trove of friendship!” Or “Look again! That hairy, ugly beasy just might be a handsome, dashing, take your breath away, young Prince!” Enjoy the legend! |
