Synopsis
Trevor Stanton is a neurotic young actor about to make his Broadway debut. There's just one problem: Bertram Finch, New York City's most powerful theater critic. Bertram has never liked Trevor's work, so Trevor kidnaps the critic in order to prevent him from writing a scathing, potentially career-ending review. But a mix-up leads to Trevor accidentally poisoning Bertram, and as a parade of outrageous characters make their way to his dressing room, he must take increasingly desperate measures to hide his horrible deed.
