Synopsis
Meet the kids of Losing It... Fifteen year-old Rasheem dreams of rock stardom, but thanks to crack cocaine, his dream is rapidly fading. Alan, a few years older, will deal drugs to anybody. High School Senior Robbie is an expert at denial and refuses to face the truth about himself and Melissa, a cute and impressionable girl, realizes all too late that she sacrificed her life for what - for one moment of satisfaction. There are those who have beat the demons, like Janice and Hector and tough sixteen year-old Hector, who actually wins his struggle, only to face a more terrifying opponent. Here too, are the people who love them, who try to help them and even those who hate them. The kids of Losing It are sometimes tragic, often comic and ever so familiar. You'll find your audience captivated and students inspired.
