While dreaming of what she will buy with her earnings, Patty bumps into the racing tortoise and spills her milk, she bumps into the country mouse and city mouse and spills more milk. Then, she runs into a group of monkeys and spills the last of her milk. She blames the monkeys for her loss, but quickly realizes that the only person truly at fault was herself. The monkeys celebrate her epiphany with a rousing bout of "Monkey Bop" shenanigans. Patty invites them back to her house for a snack and on the way home, they pick up the mice, the tortoise, and other marketplace friends. |
