The whole gamut of emotions is explored, from anger to anxiety, denial to innocence, blame to acceptance. We smile as innocent younger sister Sarah has a birthday party with her dolls and eventually draws her sullen brother, Matthew, into her loving circle. We are moved when the stern coach talks angry Natalia into finding comfort in perseverance, in finding solace with her teammates. And we even laugh at the discussion of the language of divorce.
